Pre-Purchase Price Promise

POWER's price robot automatically scans competitor prices every 15 minutes and adjusts our online and in-store prices accordingly. This system connects to electronic price tags in stores, ensuring you always receive our current online price without having to request it.

The price robot monitors Elkjøp prices and automatically updates our pricing. However, certain exceptions apply to special competitor campaigns like opening offers, Black Friday deals, bulk purchases, and similar promotions that aren't reflected in standard pricing.

Price Promise Requirements

To qualify for our price promise, these conditions must be met:

  • The product must be available and in stock with the competitor
  • Price must be documented with a working link showing availability
  • Comparison price must include shipping costs
  • Offers requiring memberships or special access don't qualify
  • Limited to private customers, maximum one item per person
  • Contact store staff or customer service before purchasing for verification

Advertisement Guarantee

We guarantee availability of advertised products or equivalent alternatives throughout campaign periods. If items are sold out, you may need to wait but will pay the campaign price. Exceptions include Black Week campaigns and products marked as "limited quantity," "bulk purchase," "outlet," or "last chance."

Post-Purchase Price Guarantee

Our 60-day price guarantee protects you after purchase. If POWER reduces the price of an identical item within 60 days of your purchase, we'll refund the difference.

How to Request Price Matching

  1. Gather your order number and proof of the lower POWER price
  2. Visit your local POWER store or contact customer service
  3. Present documentation and request price matching
  4. Receive refund to your original payment method

Post-Purchase Guarantee Exclusions

The following purchases don't qualify for post-purchase price matching:

  • Limited-time or limited-quantity offers
  • Clearance or discontinuation sales
  • Custom orders or tailored products
  • Competitor exclusive or member-only deals
  • Pricing errors or printing mistakes
  • Items purchased with DNB discount

Black Week Special Guarantee

During November, if you purchase an item and POWER later reduces the price of that same item within the month, we'll refund the difference. This applies to identical products purchased between November 1-30, with refunds processed to your original payment method.

Important:

Black Week guarantee only applies to POWER's own price reductions, not competitor price matching. Package deals and subscription offers are excluded.

Price Communication Terms

Understanding our pricing language helps you make informed decisions:

  • "Check the price" indicates we're confident in offering an excellent price worth comparing
  • "Previous price" refers to the lowest price on power.no in the last 30 days
  • "Price after campaign" means prices will increase after the promotional period and remain higher for at least 30 days
  • "Never been cheaper" indicates the product hasn't been cheaper on Prisjakt in the last 12 months

Open Purchase Policy

Unsure about your purchase? POWER offers a 60-day open purchase policy, allowing you to exchange for another product or receive a full refund if the item isn't quite right for you.

Some products can only be returned if packaging is unopened and sealing is intact. This applies to hygiene products that come in close contact with your body. This policy exists because returned products are sold in our Outlet section at discounted prices, so they must remain hygienically clean for other customers. Remember to keep original packaging.

Products Excluded from Open Purchase

The following items cannot be returned once opened or used:

  • Hygiene products with broken sealing (dental care, skin/hair/body care, smartwatches, smart rings, fitness watches)
  • Earbuds/in-ear headphones with broken sealing
  • Products with subscriptions (except mobile phones and computer components purchased online, which have 14-day statutory withdrawal right)
  • Software, games, computer components, or films with broken packaging
  • Norema kitchens and specially ordered kitchen parts
  • Mobile phones with broken sealing
  • Gift cards
  • Software support agreements
  • Seasonal products (14-day return period for Christmas trees, holiday lighting, seasonal decor, fans, air conditioning)
  • Opened ink cartridges

Important:

Return rights may be forfeited with clear signs of use/wear or repeated misuse. Standard warranty and complaint rights remain unaffected. Online purchases from power.no have statutory 14-day withdrawal right.

B2B Open Purchase Exceptions

For business customers, additional restrictions apply:

  • Special orders are not covered by open purchase
  • Open purchase applies to maximum five identical products
  • Pre-installed or configured devices are not covered by open purchase
